Ladies and Gentlemen,
Welcome to the Dragon Den HD 2. The reason we call it HD is because HD stands for human development. On this blog, we'll study the human body, the male and female reproductive systems, the endocrine system, and the changes the male and female human body go through before, during and after puberty. Each day, you'll learn new vocabulary as well as new things about human bodies. You'll have the chance to ask anonymous questions using the special question box each day.
This post will serve as our question box. At the end of each lesson, you'll each post a comment on this post. The comment will contain any questions you have. Do NOT sign in or include your name. This assignment will be completed anonymously. The following day, we will do our best to answer your questions. SOme questions we cannot answer. We cannot talk about sex. We can talk about body systems and changes our bodies go through. You can always speak with your doctor or your family about questions we cannot answer for you.
During this unit, you'll learn about how human bodies change during puberty. The main reason that the human body goes through changes is to allow humans to reproduce. We will not be split into classes, and we will not be separated into boy and girl groups. Everyone will learn everything.
If you cannot be mature about these lessons, you will be excused from the class. So, thank you in advance for your ability to remain focused, even when you are feeling a bit uncomfortable.
